Chaired by Kweon Ki-hwan, Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, the second meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Third Summit for Democracy was held on Wednesday, February 21, with the participation of related ministries and organizations.
※ The 3rd Summit for Democracy will be held from March 18 to 20.

Participants at this meeting reviewed the current status of preparations for the Summit since the first Preparatory meeting, held on December 5, 2023. Deputy Minister Kwon, as head of the Preparatory Committee, called for active communication and cooperation among relevant ministries and organizations to ensure the successful hosting of the Summit.
